Truth for Youth held their annual Summer Youth Celebration on August 7th, 14th, and the 21st, located at the Hollice T. Williams Park. This is event is for elementary through high school students, to help them prepare for school, while having a good time doing so. During each Sunday, there were free food, music, Golf Lessons, and the kids were able to swim in the Cecil T. Hunter Pool. Click here to continue. The last Sunday of this event (August 21st), Truth for Youth handed out paper, pencils, notebooks, book bags, and other school supplies to all the children at the event. Roy Jones stopped by and donated shoes and clothing. He also gave a great motivational speech to encourage the youth. This event was a great success not just to Truth for Youth, but to the children, their parents, and the community. We would like to give special thanks to:
